Rosewood Village and Twin Lakes Village showcase life in their communities at Sarnia event
By Deron Hamel – October 5, 2026
Representatives from two S&R seniors living communities spent a day at an outdoor event in Sarnia showcasing what they have to offer residents and giving the public a glimpse into life at S&R Villages.
During the Fall into Winter Arts and Craft Show, held Sept. 26 at Baxter Park, team members from Rosewood Village and Twin Lakes Village connected with local families – including some who had their own S&R stories to share, says Aastha Singh, Rosewood Village’s life enrichment co-ordinator.
“We had a great time connecting with the community (and) sharing information about our homes,” Aastha tells S&R Today.
The event also provided an opportunity for team members to hear from families of current and former residents, several of whom stopped by the S&R booth to share stories about their S&R experiences.
“It was so special to hear their memories and experiences,” Aastha says. “We truly appreciated them taking the time to share.”
Visitors to the S&R booth could also book tours of S&R Villages and had the opportunity to enter several raffle draws and giveaways.
Prizes included a $50 gas gift card, a $50 Sunripe gift card, a flower basket and two dinners for four – one at Rosewood Village and one at Twin Lakes Village.
Aastha says the event gave the S&R team an opportunity to meet people in the community while highlighting the people, experiences and amenities that make S&R Villages special for their residents.
She says the team enjoyed meeting local families, answering questions and talking about life at S&R Villages.
“It was a great opportunity to connect with members of the Sarnia community, share more about our homes and meet so many friendly faces,” Aastha says.
