Landmark Village residents were once again treated to a night of dining and dancing during the Sarnia seniors living community’s annual new year’s eve celebration.
Residents and team members gathered Dec. 31 for their final dinner of 2025 and were served a spread that, as always, was fit for a five-star restaurant.
Brent Hart, Landmark Village’s activity manager, says the food services team did an “outstanding job” preparing the meal, which included shrimp cocktail, prime rib and cheesecake for dessert.
“The serving staff also did a fantastic job serving all the residents and handing out the ceremonial sparkling wine as we toasted in the new year,” he tells S&R Today.
Team members decorated the Village’s Great Hall and dining area for the occasion, and the Borderline Band – a fan-favourite musical act – performed for the evening’s festivities.
Brent says the new year’s eve dinner and dance is always an event that attracts a large turnout from residents, and this past new year’s was no different.
“We all put in a lot of work for the evening and it’s all worth it seeing the residents having a great time and smiling,” he says.
