Our Leadership Team
In 2014, I embarked on my nursing career at Twin Lakes Village, marking the beginning of an incredibly fulfilling journey. Throughout various professional endeavors, this establishment has always held a special place in my heart, fostering a sense of belonging unlike any other. My passion lies in fostering meaningful connections with residents, staff, and families, a cornerstone of my commitment to this field. With over nine years of nursing experience under my belt, I am thrilled to embrace a new chapter as the Executive Director and Director of Wellness, dedicated to nurturing this cherished community.
Upon graduating from College in 2012, I began working in the Health Care field immediately. Prior to coming to Twin Lakes Village, I spent the last 10 years working within the offices of the Home Health Care Sector which I loved and was very passionate about.
When I made the decision to broaden my horizons career wise, I knew I wanted to remain working closely with the Senior population within our community. I continue to volunteer at various Senior and Community Centers around Sarnia and area, but when I had the chance to interview, and then work, with the S&R Group at Twin Lakes Village I jumped at the opportunity! I was received and welcomed so warmly by the Residents and Staff alike. I knew I was right where I needed to be and the decision was an easy one.
Although I am new to my role as the Resident Services Manager at Twin Lakes Village, I believe my previous experience and knowledge in the Health Care field will be an asset to the Steeves and Rozema Group now, and in the future. I would be happy to answer any of your questions or to help you to book a Tour of our lovely Community today!
I started my career at S&R in Long Term Care in life enrichment for 2 years before accepting my role as FUN coordinator at Twin Lakes Village. I am excited to bring my fresh and creative ideas to life with the residents here. I have 5 years of experience in Long Term Care and Seniors Living doing activities.
I love being able to share my passion with others around me and try to get each one of the residents involved and included in our daily programming. Bonus if I can also get staff included as well, here at Twin Lakes Village.
We provide our residents with nutritious meals and a friendly, home-like environment at each meal. My position as the Food Services Manager gives me the opportunity daily to meet and exceed our residents' expectations of a high quality dining experience.
