Mitten Tree

The ongoing COVID pandemic has created a need more than ever for the Landmark Village Mitten Tree. Our residents are very busy every year at this time knitting items to help keep people in need warm throughout the winter months. The mittens, scarves, socks and hats the residents made are placed on the Mitten Tree and are later donated to a charitable organization. The amount of items is truly amazing and you can't find a bare spot on the tree. Each year the residents love and look forward to this Giving Back program as they are happy and proud to make a difference to those in need. Landmark Village residents also donate clothes and food items. Then when its time to donate the residents get to chose the charity they would like their items to go too. We are so very proud of our residents and their generous, giving spirits.
