Boat Cruise Party

Waterloo Heights hosted a "Boat Cuise" theme party in their dining room for the residents. The band "A Record Day" was singing away while residents enjoyed beverages and a fancy meal made by the Waterloo staff and Chef Ben. Ben and his team made roasted chicken with mango sauce, topped with shrimp and vegetables sliced liked sand dollars. Dessert was passion fruit mousse with fresh berries and whipped cream - it was so delicious! The hallway leading to the dining room had a large sign that said "Bon Voyage" to set the mood, and throughout the hall and dining room was nautical decor inculuding a net hanging from the ceiling with real starfish, shells and seahorse lights, it was very elegant. Residents enjoyed the evening and reminisced about past cruises and vacations - a fun time was had by all!
